CORVALLIS, OREGON—January
1,1999—
Sanda Communications president Jerry W. Saveriano has been
elected to the Software Association of Oregon's (SAO) Board
of Directors. He will serve a two-year term.
Other newly elected board members are Guy Field
of Medicalogic, Don Guiou of Mentor Graphics, Rosi Marshall
of Sequent Computer Systems and Stephen Rogers of Step Technology.
Saveriano is president of the organization's
Corvallis chapter and an active association member. In addition
to helping with publication of the group's newsletter, he
is involved with creation of its next-generation Web site,
and he will spearhead a History of SAO multimedia project
and establishment of a high-technology CEO roundtable in Corvallis.
The Software Association of Oregon fosters and
promotes the quality and growth of Oregon's software industry
by serving its key needs.
