produces video to attract and retain technology companies in Oregon
PORTLAND, Ore. - May 17, 2006 - Sanda Communications President Jerry W. Saveriano announced today the agency has completed work on a video project for the Software Association of Oregon (SAO). The video will be part of a DVD the SAO is creating with state economic development agencies and private industry to attract and retain technology companies in Oregon.
"The video sets the tone for the rest of the DVD, presenting Oregon both as a great place to do business and a great place to live," Saveriano said. "It highlights Oregon's low business costs, strong high-tech sector, proximity to Pacific Rim markets and the quality of life that attracts a skilled, educated work force."
The DVD includes a number of interactive presentations with embedded video clips, as well as links to state and local economic development agencies, including the Oregon Economic and Community Development Department (OECDD), Oregon Economic Development Association (OEDA) and Portland Development Commission (PDC). It is designed to give companies a snapshot of the business infrastructure and resources they can draw on when they locate in Oregon.
