Brian Brooks

Director of Account Development

Brian Brooks returned to Sanda in 2005 after a three-year run as Sales Manager for five radio stations in the mid-Willamette Valley. He was an AE for Sanda from 2000 to 2002, working mostly with video surveillance system manufacturer Kalatel, now a part of GE’s security business.

A graduate of Cal Poly Pomona with a BA in Communications, Brian has held several management, marketing and production positions in broadcast and print media. He has been a television sports announcer, radio talk-show host, and freelance sportswriter. He also spent nine years at Mark Goodson Productions (the game show people) working in various writing and production jobs before becoming Marketing Director for “The Price Is Right.” There, Brian gained experience bringing products to market with a bit of the ol’ sizzle factor. He would look for unique, cutting edge products about to hit the market and use the show's exposure as an integral part of its launch.

Tired of overly exuberant game show contestants, freeways, smog and Southern California in general, Brian and his wife Kristi loaded up their two convertibles, headed north and set down roots in Corvallis in 1995. His extended resume includes a four-year run as the Marketing Manager for Lee Northwest Publishing, which publishes the Corvallis the Gazette-Times, Albany Democrat-Herald and six other Oregon papers.

Brian has been involved in numerous civic organizations since coming to Corvallis. He and Kristi have expended their family to include Emma, seven and Nolan, four.
