Jonn Nishiguchi started out as a graphic design major at Oregon State University, but switched to marketing because it looked more fun and interactive. It proved to be a good fit for Jonn, because he does a lot of interacting with Sanda clients, staff, media and vendors.
As an account coordinator, Jonn schedules ad placements, creates estimates and timelines, gives tasks to the production and design team, assists account executives, and basically does anything else necessary to keep a project on schedule and within budget. His graphic design background also comes in handy for knowing what will catch the eye—and what it will take to bring an idea through production.
Jonn is originally from Hawaii, and he loves to surf whenever he goes back. So he knows all about maintaining your balance and staying ahead of oncoming waves—also good qualities for a busy account coordinator to have.
