Patricia has worked in graphic design for more than 20 years, and for 10 of those years, she owned and operated her own design business near Santa Cruz, Calif. Patricia has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the University of Cincinnati, and throughout her career, she has specialized in corporate print design for clients including Hewlett-Packard, Chase Manhattan Bank and the University of Santa Cruz.
Patricia moved to Corvallis in 2003 and came to Sanda seeking a more collaborative approach to design. As a designer, her passion is typography—one of her favorite games is “Name That Typeface”—and she’s just ever so slightly obsessed with getting all the details of a job absolutely right. Actually, that’s an obsession we can live with. It certainly helps keep our clients happy.
When she’s not picking out fonts or going over project details with a fine-toothed comb, Patricia can most likely be found on the dance floor. An avid partner dancer, she also teaches salsa (the dance, not the Mexican food) in her spare time. She and her partner Dale share their home with their dog Jasper and four ducks. Anybody need some eggs?
